Privacy, terms & disclaimer

Clear information deserves clear boundaries.

Educational purpose

ShieldHer AI provides general educational information about artificial intelligence, digital literacy and online safety. It is not legal, medical, mental-health, cybersecurity-forensics or emergency advice.

Emergency and professional support

If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact emergency services. For advice about a specific legal, safety or health situation, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

External resources

We link to third-party organizations for convenience and education. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by those organizations. A link does not guarantee or endorse every statement or service they provide.

Privacy

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information through general contact channels. Information voluntarily sent to ShieldHer AI should be used only to respond, administer participation and improve programming, subject to applicable requirements.

Deepfake Detection Centre

The ShieldHer Lab Scan sends the selected photo or video to Hive for automated analysis only after the visitor gives consent. It then performs a separate synthetic image cross check in the visitor's browser. ShieldHer AI does not intentionally store the media. Hive processes submitted media under its own service and privacy terms. Visitors should not submit unlawful content, intimate media, or any file they do not have permission to share. The Private Quick Scan runs in the browser and does not upload the selected file. To limit automated abuse of the hosted service, ShieldHer stores a one-way hash of limited connection information with an hourly scan count for no longer than 24 hours.

Scam Message Analyzer

The Scam Message Analyzer runs in the visitor's browser. Pasted text, links, email addresses and phone numbers are not submitted to ShieldHer AI or stored by the tool. The analyzer does not open or visit pasted links. Visitors should never paste passwords, one-time verification codes, banking credentials or intimate material.

Digital Sprint Week registration

Digital Sprint Week registration asks only for a name, email address and the sessions a participant chooses. This information is used to administer registration and send event timing and private access details. It should not be used for unrelated marketing without separate consent.

Community Voices

Community Voices submissions are public. A visitor may publish anonymously or choose to display a first name or chosen name and age. Anonymous submissions do not store or display those identity fields. Submitted text is automatically checked before publication; profanity and harmful slurs are removed, while contact details, links and direct threats are rejected. ShieldHer AI stores the cleaned public text, the selected display preference and submission time. A short-lived one-way network identifier is used only to limit automated or repeated submissions; the site does not store the visitor's plain IP address for this feature. A contributor may contact ShieldHer AI to request removal of a published experience.

Real or AI? Challenge data

The challenge does not request a name, email address or written response. To measure educational impact, ShieldHer AI stores anonymous pre- and post-learning score totals, whether a participant intends to pass the challenge and the completion time. A random browser identifier is converted into a one-way hash so the same device is not counted repeatedly.

Cookies and browser storage

ShieldHer AI uses essential browser storage to remember whether a visitor has accepted the cookie notice and to prevent duplicate challenge counts. The current site does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad tracking. If analytics or embedded services are added later, this notice should be updated.

Accuracy

Artificial-intelligence research, tools and laws evolve quickly. A detection score or scam risk signal is a screening result, not proof. ShieldHer models have not yet completed independent benchmarking, and no result should be used alone to accuse a person or make a legal, safety, employment or disciplinary decision.
